Calendar Notes

    • In the mini calendar, you can click and drag through certain dates

    • Can have different Folders for different topics in the calendar

    • Then you can have multiple calendars within the folder

    • Toggle for On and Off

    • Anything under My Calendars - you have full rights to it

    • Other calendars - people have given you view rights

    • You can search for co-worker calendars

    • You need to set up your view options to control what other people can see

    • The default is that everyone in the organization can see details

    • May be able to change that in the dash board

    • Adding the Description makes it a communication tool

    • Use Repeat for Recurring events

    • Make sure to choose an ending time

    • Can create nested Room

    • More visual if you used a calendar and had appointment slot

    • Recommend that teachers add attachments to the calendar for parents to see the assignment

    • Still need to set sharing permissions

    • When creating a calendar, you can change the settings

    • Be sure to pay attention to Share Settings

    • Can make people a co-owner of the calendar

    • If you add an event, it defaults to your Personal Calendar

    • Before you embed a calendar into a website, be sure to make it public
